These photographs were taken in Pakistan in 2022, during one of the most devastating floods in the country’s history.

Triggered by unprecedented monsoon rains, the disaster submerged vast areas of land, displacing millions of people and destroying homes, infrastructure, and livelihoods. Entire villages disappeared under water, leaving communities to navigate loss, uncertainty, and the long process of rebuilding.

Through this work, I documented the scale of the disaster and its human impact — focusing on the everyday reality of those living through the aftermath, where water became both a force of destruction and a defining element of life.
